Creekside Catering is a full service catering company serving Savannah, Georgia, and surrounding areas since 2007.  With the belief that each event has it’s own personality, Chef Owners Adam and Erin Matthews create a specific menu for each order.  “Our mission is to give the clients what they want.”

Adam grew up on the outskirts of Columbia, South Carolina, where he was taught at an early age the importance of family and food.  He carried this theme through high school and his work with Aberdeen Catering.  There he was put to work in the front of the house as well as the back.  He was admired for his creativeness and work ethics.  After graduating high school, Adam was accepted to Johnson & Wales University, Charleston, South Carolina.  He joined the CAST (Culinary Aid Student Team) and was able to work first hand with some of the best chefs the school had to offer.  While finishing his culinary arts and food service management degrees, he helped open Cru Café and Catering, which has been voted “Best Caterer” of Charleston eleven years in a row and counting, as well as 39 Rue de Jean and S.N.O.B (Slightly North of Broad).  Upon graduation, he accepted a position with ARAMARK at The Citadel Military College.  There he was a catering manager and was able to experience the front of the house management.  A year later, he transferred to the College of Charleston to assist with the catering department.  After years of working for someone else, he finally realized his dream to become a business owner.  With the help of family, he packed up and moved to Savannah, Georgia, and opened Creekside Catering.

Erin began her career with the hospitality and culinary fields in high school.  As an employee for a small deli in Charlotte, North Carolina, she realized the excitement and opportunity in the food service industry.  After graduating high school, Erin was headed to East Carolina University to study nutrition.  While in her beginning classes, she took a hospitality management class.  After hearing the stories and passion of her professor, she knew that was the field for her.  Four years later, with a degree in hand she headed to Charleston, South Carolina.  There she began working for a local restaurant as the banquet coordinator.  She soon was offered a position with ARAMARK as catering manager and later the catering director.  During her time with these two positions, she enjoyed the pace and difference each day brought but knew that her knowledge of food was holding her back. With a lot of thought and encouragement, she headed to Hyde Park, New York, to get her culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America  After two winters in the North and completion of the degree, Erin knew she wanted to go back South.  She joined Adam in Savannah.

With over twenty-five years of experience between the two, their ideas are fresh and creative.  You can trust that each event is handled with care and professionalism and that only the freshest and finest ingredients are being used.  Creekside Catering has gained the confidence of many local businesses, community members, local celebrities, and international companies.  Our promise to you as the customer is that we will settle for nothing but the best for your guests.
